Nepal is a small, landlocked nation bordered by China and India, two enormous neighbours. With difficult trekking routes, magnificent glaciers, and attractive valleys, Nepal is one of the top places in the world for adventure tourism. Nepal is one of the most affordable destinations in Asia for tourists, and it’s simple to see this lovely, culturally diverse nation on a shoestring budget.
Plan a trip to Nepal for three to four weeks to get the full experience; this amount of time will allow you to complete a challenging trek, like the less-travelled Makalu Base Camp or Arun Valley to Everest Base Camp trek, and still have time to explore the culture, the jungle, and other adventure activities like rafting.

Nepal: How Safe Is It Really?
In general, Nepal is a safe country to visit, and its residents are renowned for their warmth and kindness toward tourists and visitors.
Despite the low crime rate, you should still be cautious. Remember that pickpockets and bag snatchers operate in busy areas like bus or train terminals, airports, and popular tourist destinations like Kathmandu’s Thamel, Sanepa, and Kupondol. Even though there aren’t many crimes, you should still be careful at night and watchful after dark.
Visas – Passport photos and the required fee are all that are required to obtain a visa for Nepal at the international airport in Kathmandu and at any foreigner-open borders. Verify that you have a full blank page in your passport and that it is valid for at least six months.
Travel Insurance – As with any trip, we advise purchasing travel insurance before departing for Nepal because it not only protects against medical expenses but also theft and loss of possessions
