What do I need to do to go to Bali from Australia?

Australians can now fly to Bali from their country. However, new specifications have been put in place. From May 2022, Australian citizens who intend to visit Bali for 30 days or less must obtain a visa. At international airports, you can purchase a Visa and apply for one. You must be ready to pay in cash as tourist visas often cost $50 AUD. International airports frequently have ATMs, but they could be busy, so having cash can save you time.

These tourist visas allow for a 30-day stay once accepted. There are a few prerequisites to fulfil in order to be granted a tourist visa:

  • a passport that is valid for at least six months.
  • a reservation for a flight from Australia to another country or vice versa within 30 days.
  • Proof of at least two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine for travellers who are 18 years old or older.

Is it safe to go from Australia to Bali?

Due to the effects of COVID-19 and security issues, the Australian government advises travellers visiting Bali to exercise a “high degree of vigilance.”

In the area, there are occasionally natural catastrophes like earthquakes, tsunamis, and floods. Always keep an eye on the news, heed local authorities’ guidance, and utilise travel warnings as necessary.

There are petty crimes like bag theft and violent crimes like drink spiking, and solo female travellers are more vulnerable to these crimes. It’s best to always be aware of where your drinks and belongings are, and to keep valuables hidden. In crowds, cabs, bars, and clubs, stay vigilant at all times.

Exist any guidelines or rules that travellers must follow?

Bali travel from Australia is now possible, but like with any foreign trip, you need to be aware of the local customs and legal differences. Australia is quite accessible when it comes to travelling to Bali, and the hospitality of Indonesia is a big attraction for tourists. It is possible to avoid stress and shocks when travelling to Bali from Australia by being aware of some aspects of Indonesian legislation and cultural customs.

Advice for Australians Visiting Bali

Reentering society is not without risk, and huge experiences shouldn’t come at the expense of one’s health. Any medical care you receive in Bali without travel insurance will cost you the entire amount up front. Other hazards, such as delayed flights and misplaced luggage, are also present due to the general eagerness to travel again.
